I love your favorite flowers.

—Niconico author's comment

"Hana ni Akai Ito" is character song for Hina Setoguchi, which retreads much of the same material as Senpai. It's another summary of Hina's relationship with Koyuki Ayase, and serves as an insert song in Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan wo. ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~. It made its first commercial appearance as the B-side for the Momo Asakura debut single Ashita wa Kimi to.

Synopsis[]

The song likens her love to the growth of flowers. At first, she finds herself enamored with Koyuki, her love nurtured by their interactions. The flower doesn't last long after he leaves; however, a new one grows in its place when she falls in love with another person; Kotaro ends up taking Koyuki's place and nurtures Hina's flower in his stead.

Lyrics[]

Trivia[]

  • The PV of this song carries over and expands the flower imagery from Senpai. using tulips, generally representing love[1]. Her love is represented by a red and a white tulip here; The red stands for a passionate love, but the white's meaning varies. In some cases, it's forgiveness and worthiness and in others it's rebirth and purity.
